PiiGAB 820 is a flexible M-Bus converter and extender used to connect serial M-Bus to IP-based networks. The product enables M-Bus communication over Ethernet and is therefore well suited to installations where meter data needs to be transferred between a traditional M-Bus loop and a supervisory system via the network. This allows existing M-Bus installations to be integrated into modern IP-based infrastructures without having to rebuild the underlying M-Bus communication.

PiiGAB 820 can also be used to expand an existing M-Bus installation. When the need for more M-Bus loads increases, the device can function as an extender, allowing more devices to be connected to the system.
